Behind the Lens
My journey into wildlife photography began not with a camera, but with a profound respect for the natural world and an insatiable curiosity about the creatures that inhabit it.
Based in Belgium, I've dedicated myself to capturing the raw beauty and untold stories of wildlife across the globe. My work spans diverse ecosystems and species, from the big cats of Asia to the primates and rare wildlife of specialized collections.
What drives my photography is the belief that every animal has a story worth telling. Through patient observation and technical precision, I seek to capture not just images, but moments that reveal the soul of each subject—whether it's the piercing gaze of a clouded leopard or the tender bond between a mother and her young.
My approach combines technical mastery with artistic vision. Shooting exclusively in manual mode allows me complete creative control over every frame, from exposure decisions in challenging light to precise focus placement that guides the viewer's eye exactly where I intend. Currently expanding my portfolio across Asia with upcoming expeditions to Malaysia and Indonesia, I seek out both iconic species and lesser-known wildlife, always searching for that decisive moment when behavior, light, and composition align to create images that resonate long after the first glance.
I believe great wildlife photography requires three elements: patience, preparation, and respect for the subject.
Every shoot begins with research—understanding animal behavior, predicting movement patterns, and anticipating the perfect light. Whether I'm at on safari in Tanzania or trekking in the jungle of Cambodia, I approach each session with the same dedication to capturing authentic moments
My goal isn't just to document wildlife, but to create images that inspire conservation and deeper connection with the natural world.
